Austin, TX — January 29, 2026: Authorities reported that two people were injured following a multi-vehicle accident along Southwest Parkway around 8:00 a.m. According to officials with Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, the collision occurred near the intersection of Southwest Parkway and Barton Creek Boulevard. Reports indicate that multiple vehicles were involved, resulting in two occupants being transported to area hospitals. Authorities said one individual sustained serious injuries, while the other was treated for minor injuries. Additional information regarding the cause of the accident has not been released.
