The Vigil for Mac Miller (Full Immersion)

Описание: I live in Squirrel Hill and attended the same high school as Mac Miller (Taylor Allderdice). Though I never met this young man who tragically died from a drug overdose a few days prior, I have friends that knew him and worked with him in the past. On September 11, 2018, word of mouth spread that there was going to be a candlelight vigil held next to the Blue Slide at Frick on this afternoon. I took a 15 minute walk over to Frick Park with 2 friends and with my tiny Samsung Galaxy S9 smartphone, I shot video clips of what I saw and experienced around me. My goal was to capture as much complete coverage as I could so fans of Mac Miller around the city, the country and the world would appreciate and experience everything that happened on this day. Throughout the years, I had been going to Frick Park's various entrances since I was a child, whether it was taking walks with my dad and siblings, running around the hiking trails, or playing little league baseball, but NEVER had I ever seen so many human beings at this special park in my life like I did today. Along with the thousands of people that attended the vigil, I hope fans of Mac Miller that were unable to attend, find comfort in this tribute that I lovingly made an effort to document on video.
