Watercolor painting on Arches 300g Hot Pressed paper.
My second experience with hot pressed paper, I usually use cold pressed and rough. I took the opportunity to test the paper with many washes, lifting and scrubbing a lot. I've used sedimentary/granulating pigments, that don't look great on this type of paper (at least when used in excess) because the paper is smooth, the bigger particles of the pigment piled up on the surface, giving it a velvety look and reducing the brilliance of the colors. This is visible on the right side of the green background, which appears dull in the video under my setup lights, but actually it does not look that bad in real life. The paper held it all without any signs of wear. This is even more incredible because I used the back of the sheet.
