Having been a general dentist in the U.S. for over 30 years (gulp!), I've always found it annoying when doctors fail to explain things to their patients in a simple and clear manner using language that they can actually understand. After all, you didn't attend medical or dental school so why are we treating you like you did? It's disrespectful!

I've started this channel to help put an end to that. This channel will be dedicated to explaining all things dentistry in simple layman's terms. Need a root canal and have no idea what that is or what to expect? I'm here to help. Don't know the difference between a crown and a cap (hint: nothing)? I'm here to help.
