After confidently spotting a "glaring" bug in the C epoll code Gemini wrote for me, I proceeded to create an entire video "fixing" it. Turns out, my brilliant fix involved saving files in the wrong place and fundamentally misunderstanding bitwise operations. Whoops. In this video, I swallow my pride, go back to the original AI code, and try to actually understand how it works. I clear up my first confusion only to stumble into a new, more subtle one: is my helper function secretly blocking my supposedly non-blocking event loop? Watch me try to debug my own brain.
