Hence why they have not been queueing up to take part in the offensive operations. But so far, they have mostly been muted in their criticism. Step forward Pedro Sanchez, prime minister of Spain, who has been extremely forthright in his condemnation of the action, and robust in the face of threats from Trump about sanctions that may be brought to bear against Spain as a result.
