SLEEPING ON SIDE OF THE ROAD | DAY 1 😱

Описание: Red Bull took our phones and money, and guided us to a rooftop in Berlin, Germany, where we would begin the race. We ran through the starting line, having no idea what the next seven days had in store. Then we had that moment. That moment when you realize, "Wow, I actually have zero dollars." But when that moment passes, the only thing you know for sure, is you HAVE to keep moving!

We started by asking everyone we passed where to find a train. Standing on the platform next to another 3 teams who were also just starting the race, was absolutely terrifying. We all looked at each other and although we were competition, we knew we needed to team up. We all hopped on our first train with no ticket. We were in it together. When the conductor came, Brandon spoke up. He explained the competition and begged the conductor to let us stay (and not arrest us!) Although he was mad we were on the train, he let us stay and admired our spirit. He also warned us that other conductors would not be so nice, and our luck was soon to come to an end. We hopped off at the last city we could, and found a place to sleep (sort of....)

✌️ HOW IT ALL STARTED 🎥

I woke up Brandon one morning to tell him we were applying to a crazy race hosted by Red bull that I found online. He almost didn't believe me, but next thing we knew, we were filming an entry video to get in! This is our entry video that got us into the race of a lifetime.

✈️ THE COMPETITION 😁

Red Bull hosted a competition called "Red Bull Can You Make It." 365 student teams from over 50+ countries across the globe will have seven days to travel across Europe with only Red Bull has their currency. I was one of those teams. We had no phone and no money for food, transportation, or places to sleep. We have to make it across Europe with any means we could: hopping trains, hitchhiking, finding shelter, and trading for food.

Each team had to choose any 6 checkpoints out of the 45 options that they would plan to hit along the journey. The starting line was on top of a building in Berlin, Germany, and the finish line was in Paris, France. We mapped out our general route, ran through the starting line, and began the race...

😜 FUN FACT 📱

We weren't allowed to bring ANY electronics on this trip (including cameras!) When we got there, Red Bull gave us a phone that could only call them or the police. It could only take pictures or video and upload to the Red Bull App. NOTHING ELSE WORKED. In order to be able to gather the amount of footage we got for this series, I had to beg a man in the electronics store in Germany to give me a 16 Gig SD card in exchange for Red Bull instead of money. This whole series was filmed off only a phone with very limited space!
