Lorynn York aka Lauren Swickard is an American actress and model who mainly works in TV series and films. She is known for portraying Janet in the television movie “Babysitter’s Black Book” (2015) and Tracy Peterson in the social issue drama film “Roped” (2020) opposite her husband Josh Wwickard.

She did her early schooling at The School of American Ballet, New York. After that, she enrolled herself at Chautauqua Institute, New York where she completed her graduation course.

Since childhood, the actress was inclined towards acting and dancing and always dreamed to be a successful actress in the future.

Career
The actress started her career at a very early age, in 2011 when she was in high school she appeared in the short film Lily’s Course and after that, she has played small roles in TV serials like “It’s Supernatural” and “Deadly Sins” in 2012.

The year 2013 was proved to be the best year in her career as she got an important role in the TV movie Shelter and later appeared in movies like Safe-Heaven, Iron-Man-3, One-Bad-Day, The-Girl-In-The-Woods, 10-Rules-For-Sleeping-Around, Little-Birdy, and many more.

In the same year, she also appeared in the TV series The Neighbours and Anatomy of Violence.

In 2014 the actress got the main role in the TV’s mystery and thriller serial Social Path as Scarlett Cambridge. Later in the same year, she has appeared in many short films like The Boyfriend, Shattered, Cookie Monster, Southern Comfort, Beach Bum Blues, and many others.

Later in 2017 Lorynn has appeared in two TV movies Web Cam Girls and Struggling and two TV series Sweet The Show and Deat White People. In 2018 she has appeared in many popular movies back to back and became one of the well-known and demanding actresses in America.

In 2020 she made her digital debut with the web series Roped on Netflix along with her husband Josh Swickard and also played an important role in another web series “Deadly Sugar Daddy”.
