My Custom Whiskey Cabinet! 🥃✨ | Frankenstein Makeover & Fun DIY

Just finished up this crazy project — a custom whiskey cabinet with a vintage radio twist! 🫡 These Frankenstein-style projects take a lot of time, but I think it turned out super cool. 😅

Here’s the scoop:
🥃Found a old radio for just €20, and had to do some repairs and tweaks.

🥃Made new wooden legs to replace the old plastic ones.

🥃Stripped the old lacquer off, then applied a fresh coat — maybe a bit regretfully, but oh well!

🥃3D printed new buttons, though I couldn’t age them perfectly to match the other plastic parts.

🥃Spent ages customizing the front panel, carving and fitting everything together. I aged the wood with a vinegar and steel wool mix for that vintage vibe.

🥃Added a sound-reactive LED strip — looks awesome at night, even if you can’t see it much during the day! ✌️

🥃On the back, I made a new veneer, painted it with chalk paint, and burned a quote into it with a laser. (Muhammad Ali probably didn’t drink alcohol, but I think the quote’s pretty cool!) 😅

All in all, super fun project — really happy with how it turned Out!
