Comments:
Previously uncirculated, this is a stunning recording of what is only the second ever performance of the Lamb.

Side A was played on Chicago radio before the show, but besides that, everything is totally unheard by these crowds, as the album wouldn't be released until the 22nd.

This has been captured on a wonderful OAM recording, though it takes until around Back in N.Y.C. to become fully settled in, as it is overblown before that.

Thank you to everyone involved in getting this out there, and to Miles Fernando for remastering the sound.

What is this?

What lies here is a treasure trove of previously uncirculated soundboards, audience recordings, and even multi-track mixdowns which have been withheld from the public - until now. Many of these were archived by the band's front-of-house tech (and longtime Showco employee) Craig Schertz. Some of these performances are alternate sources to pre-existing dates with audience recordings, but a few of these are completely unheard.

Why? How?

We are a group of fans that have come together to liberate these recordings and ensure these can be preserved and enjoyed by future generations, instead of taken to the grave by a select few holding onto recordings of an almost 60-year-old band. The time has come for the public to freely enjoy and possess these things. Thanks to all those who contributed their time, money, and expertise to making these releases possible.

This is not a simple act of spite, but a gift for those in the community who have been holding on to the hope of hearing some of these things, especially those who attended these shows and previously only had to rely on their fading memories. And what is at stake is not just 40-50-year-old concert recordings - these recordings are part of the life's work of Craig and the members of Genesis.


All releases are contained within this root folder. You will find the raws (or the rawest version available to us), as well as, in most cases, a reworked/remastered version.

Is that all?

What we have acquired is the bulk of what exists from Craig Schertz’s personal collection.
