Описание: For auction is a Bulova Accutron Spaceview 50th Limited Edition 42MM Caliber 214. This amazing watch was truly something revolutionary when it was released 50 years ago. During the intervening years Bulova was bought and sold a few times and Accutron's were overtaken by quartz watches. That has not diminshed the love that collectors have for these great watches. The Spaceview was really the iconic watch for the space age. The 50th anniversary edition is limited to 1000 pieces using the legendary caliber 214 tuning fork movement, but the watch has been modernized by upsizing the case to 42mm and the lug width to 22mm. It also has an assymetrical shape which many Accutron's had. Fit and finish is really nice and the watch delivers on what collectors would want out of a modern Spaceview. The outer chapter ring in green is really a nice touch with XL ringed luminova markers and applied Accutron logo. Bezel is brushed in a sunburst finish which is a very 60's / 70's style and is nicely done. Really an excellent piece, perhaps the best watch put out by Bulova in decades.
