to blind the Würzburg scopes with false returns.

[23:57] In a Himmelbett cell, three radar screens crowd with
contacts faster than doctrine allows. Eleven minutes remain to
turn blips into one interception before the stream slips past.

But the screens lie. Window falls, returns bloom, bearings split.
Searchlights rake empty air, fighters chase ghosts, while the
real bomber stream holds its time beyond the beams.

Hamburg burns. This is how one innovation broke the Kammhuber Line.
