The Cajonico is an innovative percussion instrument that combines the advantages of the traditional Cajón and Bongos into a new, compact musical instrument, representing a paradigm shift in the Percussion world.

There are 3 Cajonico models-
The Solid Mahogany Cajonico, the Solid Black Limba Cajonico, and the Solid Wenge Cajonico.
All 3 models can be built with any one of the woods which we use as Tops-
Bird's Eye Maple, Mahogany, Wenge, Olive, Black Limba, Cherry, Rosewood, Maple, Beech, Ebony, Ash, Golden Oak, Imbuya, Eucalyptus and Teak.
We also offer a few Exotic Woods as Tops - Laurel Burl, Walnut Burl, Bubinga, Sapele Pommele, Tamo Ash and Amboyna Burl.

The Cajonico brings the playing surface closer to the percussionist, thereby making it easy to play comfortably while keeping a straight back, using the adjustable back strap which is supplied with our instruments.

Each Cajonico is equipped with two snare mechanisms that can be lifted or lowered using a simple knob on both sides of the instrument which give it a wide range of sounds, and offer four playing positions of unique characteristics.

The Cajonico is divided via an internal separation, which separates the upper surface to a lower pitched chamber which functions as a Bass Side and a higher pitched chamber which functions as a Snare side.

The Cajonico’s sound port is equipped with a resonance tube that amplifies the lower frequencies significantly and gives the instrument a deep, powerful tone.
The sound port is located at the front of the instrument, and projects the sound towards the audience.

The Cajonico is equipped with a pair of adjustable, handmade Integral Castanets, attached to the sides of the instrument.

Each Cajonico ships in a handmade case with velvet lined interior and waterproof exterior, that matches the measurements of the instrument.
