All of us at Waxon were very surprised that this piece didn’t take more color. It was scrunched just the way we usually do it… But oh well, some thing went strange in the process! Never to fear. It’s gonna be great.
That’s one of my favorite things about ice dyeing… It really is about as predictable as putting glazes into the kiln (if you are a ceramicist). We’re pretty sure we know what the chemicals are going to do, but sometimes we get surprised!
Don’t let it throw you. You can always overdye a piece, in a bunch of different ways.
