Special Report: CBSE to Introduce Open Book Exams for Class 9 and Above

Описание: The CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) is planning to introduce Open Book Assessment (OBA) starting from Class 9, aiming to promote critical thinking and application-based learning. Students will be allowed to refer to books and notes during exams, moving away from rote learning. The pilot program will start in select schools with subjects like English, Maths, Science, and Biology. The system is expected to be implemented from the 2026-27 academic year.
