09 This Is Where Moreno Started his "Theatre of Improvisation"

Описание: The place Moreno found to start his theatre of Improvisation was officially on the fourth floor, but in reality, on the 6th. It is still the headquarters of the Austrian Association of Women Artists, founded in 1910. According to the Austrian psychodramatist Michael Wieser, who takes us there, “once a week or twice a week he could rent the space to have his theatre”. So, from 1922 to 1924, Moreno would come from Bad Vöslau to the top floor of Maysedergasse 2, in the centre of Vienna, to practice his ideas with a group of theatre artists and poets. “Even some psychoanalysts came here”, says Michael, who also gives some details about a money problem eventually solved by William, Moreno’s brother.
