♫ I love this song so much - I find the chords absolutely beautiful - the way they kind of hover in mid-air as the lyrics dance around them - If you haven't watched Justin sing this Live from Paris, I really recommend it - it's a beautiful performance - and the song is so hypnotic that I just kept listening to it over and over. It provided so much comfort that I didn't even need chips! :-)


♫ It's been a while since I felt really addicted to a pop song - and just wanted to listen to it on repeat - It's such a nice feeling to really get swept away by music - to fall in love with it all over again. It's my work and such a huge part of my life, of my everyday - I'm so glad and grateful that it can still have this effect on me - still be a mystery to me sometimes. Stars and fascination and love and longing. I loved writing this arrangement - because my hands have to play both roles - those hovering chords AND that melody dancing around them - painting those lyrics - it's a love story after all. Sometimes I wish I had three hands :-) - But then again, limitation invites creativity - and when we combine two hands with our determined minds and beating hearts - then all kinds of things become possible.
