2 Days of Rain Almost Ruined My Canada Road Trip But...

Описание: After leaving Quebec City, I thought this would be one of the easiest parts of my Canada road trip.

The plan was simple — drive through New Brunswick, explore Edmundston and Grand Falls, find a beautiful campsite, and eventually reach the Bay of Fundy.

But the weather had completely different plans.

For two days, it rained almost nonstop. I couldn't drive as fast as I wanted, had to spend nights at truck stops, couldn't properly explore Edmundston, and even had to abandon a beautiful campsite I had planned to stay at.

Then, completely unexpectedly, I found Grand Falls — a powerful waterfall beside the small town of the same name.

And just when I thought the trip couldn't get any more frustrating, I discovered that even the library was closed because it was New Brunswick Day!

But on the third morning, the skies finally cleared.

I continued towards the Bay of Fundy and met Don, an incredible local who has opened part of his land to overlanders and campers. Instead of heading straight to Hopewell Rocks, I decided to stay at Don's campsite first.

That evening, I explored a small beach along the Bay of Fundy, walked across the ocean floor at low tide, and captured some drone footage — something I couldn't do inside Fundy National Park.

The following day, I finally reached Hopewell Rocks at low tide and experienced one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena in Canada — the world's highest tides.

A real road trip isn't always about incredible destinations. Sometimes it's about rain, bad plans, truck stops, unexpected people, and simply continuing down the road.

And that's exactly what happened on this journey through New Brunswick.
