In this video, we diagnose and repair a MacBook Air M1 that failed to power on.
Before beginning the repair, we discuss some of the key differences between Intel-based MacBooks and the newer Apple M-Series architecture.
The fault was traced to the CD3217 controller region, responsible for USB-C communication and power negotiation. The damaged component was replaced, restoring full functionality.
