The new terminal at Jodhpur Airport is now officially operational. As the first flight departed for Bengaluru, Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat was personally present to welcome the passengers.
It is worth noting that PM Modi inaugurated the facility on July 4th. Built at a cost of approximately ₹480 crore, this terminal is nearly six times larger than the previous one and is designed to handle an annual passenger traffic of 2 million.
To enhance passenger convenience, the facility features six aerobridges, a modern check-in system, and a design inspired by Rajasthani traditions.
Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat presented tickets to passengers as a memento and celebrated the launch by cutting a cake.
Furthermore, while speaking to the media, Shekhawat launched a scathing attack on former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot.
