Power BI Desktop is a free application you install on your local computer that lets you connect to, transform, and visualize your data. This data model lets you build visuals, and collections of visuals you can share as reports, with other people inside your organization.

Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) is a programming language that is used throughout Microsoft Power BI for creating calculated columns, measures, and custom tables. It is a collection of functions, operators, and constants that can be used in a formula, or expression, to calculate and return one or more values.

Gauge visualization
With the help of Gauge visualization, we can take business decisions. like what we have achieved so far and where is the lack behind it.

Card Visualization
Sometimes a single number is the most important thing you want to track in your Power BI dashboards, such as total sales, or a total number of specific employees. This type of visualization is called a Card. 
Simply it's a numeric representation of the field.
