The Canopy Sessions is a live concert series in the tropical Bolz Conservatory at Olbrich Botanical Gardens in Madison, WI. In 2022, we set out to create an accompanying music video series where each artist performing at the Canopy Sessions is invited to play their own unique take on a favorite cover song (thus, the Canopy Covers).
Chicago-based Earthmother kicked off the series and brought their jam band sensibilities and high-flying instrumental work to the Paul Simon classic "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard".
Recorded in the Bolz Conservatory in Madison, WI on Friday, February 4, 2022.
