Classic Bike Restoration - Giving a 1994 Gemini World Randonneur Touring bike a re-paint and a bit of love after sitting in a garage for years.
Hi friends!
Some of the parts that were on the bicycle were not original and were therefore replaced or simply cleaned. Everything was taken apart, stripped, re-greased and re-painted.
This bicycle has a very tall 61cm (24”) c-c steel bike frame with unicorn forks and a large head-tube.
I put some 700 * 38C Gravelkings SS tyres on there just for fun.
New brake pads were put on the existing Shimano STX Cantilevers.
Rims were some Wheel Master WTB DX23 700C that I saved from a previous bicycle and some JoyTech quick-release hubs (along with the Shimano HG50-8 cassette). 3*8 drivetrain.
Shimano STX gear detailers and crankset with bar-end shifters.
And finally beautiful Brooks seat.
