Just a quick video about how I go about preparing the growing holes for my exhibition show carrots.
The carrots are grown in boreholes taken out of sand boxes with a pipe,these holes are then filled with finely riddled compost with a little calcified seaweed powder added.
Then the seed is sown 20-22 weeks before the show date to ensure the carrot is fully formed.
