The aim of this video was to find some of the differences among 4 Fulltone Full-drive pedals. They were dialed in to match each in tone, rather than having the knobs set to match each other. A setting was found on the silver fulldrive first because it does not have a boost control knob and it was thought that that was the fairest way to go about it. After that the other fulldrives were tweaked to match the silver fulldrive's tone, trying obviously to find a similar tone when it came to the boost expression. The model of each pedal is as follows in respective order.
1. 2004 flat mids printed board 3 way toggle(set to vintage)
2. 2002 flat mids printed board push pull comp-cut(there is no vintage setting and comp-cut was not engaged)
3. 1996 hand-wired board
4. Original hand-wired Full-drive 1
Please comment and let me know what you think.. also excuse the wankery :) guitar used was a 96 Tom Anderson Cobra in bridge position with push pull knob engaged to get a little meat from the neck pickup. Amp microphone was a Sennheiser e609. 9V batteries were used to power the effects pedals.
