Automan was a television series that first aired in December of 1983 on the ABC network. The series featured Chuck Wagner as a crime fighting, artificial intelligent hologram, superhero known as Automan who was created by a police computer programmer played by Desi Arnaz Jr. The series had several supporting characters including a floating polyhedron known as Cursor that could draw three dimensional objects that would manifest as real world objects. This effect was used most often to provide Automan with a car or helicopter. The series struggled to find an audience and was expensive to produced. ABC cancelled it after only airing 12 of the 13 episodes produced. In recent years the series has been released on DVD and features all 13 episodes.
This video is suitable for, but not intended for children. My intent is to preserve or refresh the memories from the past and offer some enjoyable nostalgia.
