This video shows the development of the cone (60 mm base diameter and 65 mm height) surface sectioned by a plane inclined 45 degree to the base of the cone. The cutting plane cuts the cone axis at 30 mm below the apex. Draw the front and the top view of the cone kept on HP. Identify the cutting plane. Develop the cone first as if it was whole without sectioning. Then, identify the intersection points between the cutting plane and the twelve generators of the cone.
