Summer's Bounty-Corn and Zucchini Chowder - Ebony, Ivy & Thyme in the Kitchen

This week I'm taking advance of summer's bounty of vegetables and fruits. I purchased tons of tomatoes, corn, onions, zucchini, and cucumbers. I knew when I brought them home that I had to use them quickly.

Corn and Zucchini Chowder
Ingredients
• 3 strips Bacon
• 1/2 cup Carrots
• 2 stalks Celery
• 4 ears Corn
• 1 heaping tbsp Garlic
• 1/4 tsp Parsley, dried
• 1 lb Potatoes
• 1/2 tsp Thyme, dried
• 1/2 White onion, large
• 1 Zucchini squash
• 4 cups Chicken broth
• 1/8 tsp Cayenne seasoning
• 1/4 tsp Paprika, smoked
• 1 Salt & pepper
• 1 tbsp Butter,
Add at the end of cooking time, keep temperature low.
• 1 cup Half & half
