Описание: A health scare has emerged as 11 children have died in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, allegedly after consuming cough syrup. Nine deaths were reported from the Chhindwara district of Madhya Pradesh and two from Rajasthan. According to the report, the children in Chhindwara, a tribal-dominated area, were admitted to hospitals with kidney infections. Many were initially taken to local private doctors before their health deteriorated, leading to hospitalisation in Nagpur where they died. An official stated that private doctors have been instructed to refer children with viral symptoms to civil hospitals. Authorities have sent samples of the cough syrups for investigation and are awaiting the final reports to confirm if the medication is the direct cause of these deaths.
