A quick demo of a nearly entirely 3D printed SWG. This is an early prototype of what will become a fully integrated compact continuous rotary servo. It’ll be used in collaborative robots and other robotics applications.
As for the vibration in the video, it’s almost entirely due to the imprecise drill being used. The gear head itself is very smooth.
The design is still undergoing rigorous testing and characterization. More designs and updates soon.
