From the 2022 University of Michigan Precision Health Symposium: Advancing Responsible Healthcare Innovation Using Artificial Intelligence (AI), which took place on March 16, 2022, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
A panel discussion incorporating all four speakers from the event includes engaging discussion about the state of AI in healthcare, what needs to happen to fully implement it, how soon we can expect to see significant impact, and much more. Includes questions from event attendees and inter-panel discussions.
The panelists include Robert Wachter, MD, University of California, San Francisco, and three U-M faculty researchers: Akbar Waljee, MD, MSc, AGAF (Michigan Medicine); Lionel Robert, Jr., PhD (School of Information); and Jodyn Platt, PhD, MPH (Michigan Medicine).
The panel is moderated by Vicki Ellingrod, PharmD (University of Michigan College of Pharmacy).
