MPs to appeal High Court ruling on CDF

Описание: The battle to retain the Constituency Development fund could be heading back to the courts after MP’s declared they will challenge the high court ruling that invalidated the CDF act of 2013. At least 40 MP’s led by the Chair of the national assembly CDF committee Moses Lessonet say plans are underway to file an appeal. This comes even as national assembly majority leader Aden Duale says they will fast track amendments to the act in line with the constitution.
