David Hungate on bass on his best! This is such a fine bassline! It’s got high notes (in the intro bar 5-19); fantastic melodic licks (bar79-81; bar 96-98) beautiful slides (bar 48-49) and pull offs (bar 81).
And most of the time David follows the vocals in his choice of notes and in the rhythm.
A wonderful song and a wonderful bassline. What else can a bassplayer ask for?
