What happens when architects design their own studio?
PLP Architecture’s new London workspace is a live experiment in circular design – created with 92% reused materials, saving 175 tonnes of carbon, and costing 68% less than a typical office fit-out.
The film follows Mark Kelly, Michael Polisano and Deepthi Ravi as they share how the team challenged traditional ideas of waste, extended the life of materials from both old and new offices, and created a space that embodies PLP’s design ethos of collaboration, sustainability and craft.
Highlights include terrazzo worktops crafted from material samples of past PLP projects such as 60 Curzon, 4 Cannon Street and Park Modern – a tangible link between the places PLP has designed and the space where the practice now works.
This is a story about design with intention – and about how circular thinking can reshape the way we make and inhabit our workplaces.
