Today Sam Reed will be speaking to the whole church family on 'The Big Reason for Christmas Joy!' from Luke 1:39-45 - Christmas is full of fun things like lights, presents, and food, but the best part is Jesus — God coming to be with us. Sam Reed tells us about a time before Jesus was born when a baby jumped for joy because he knew Jesus was special, and reminds us that we can be joyful too because Jesus loves us and saves us.
Christmas has many joyful parts, but the greatest reason for joy is Jesus himself — God come to earth, revealed even before his birth as the Lord who saves. Like John the Baptist leaping in the womb, we’re invited this Christmas to rejoice in Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away our sin.
