নির্বাচিত সরকারের হাতে ক্ষমতা হস্তান্তর ১৭ বা ১৮ ফেব্রুয়ারির পার হবে না বলে জানিয়েছেন প্রধান উপদেষ্টার প্রেস সচিব শফিকুল আলম। ফরেন সার্ভিস একাডেমিতে সংবাদ সম্মেলনে তিনি আরো জানান, গ্যাসের স্থানীয় উৎপাদন ও ব্যবসায়ী পর্যায়ে আরোপিত সাড়ে ৭ শতাংশ ভ্যাট প্রত্যাহার করছেসরকার। ডেপুটি প্রেস সচিব জানান, ১৮০ দিন ক্ষমতা ধরে রাখার বিষয়টি অপপ্রচার, এর কোনো সুযোগ নেই।
