Contact Balance: Ability to absorb contact, stay upright, and fight through tackles

Shiftiness: Physical and creative ability to make defenders miss in space; including but not limited to juking defenders or using good body positioning with soft stiff arms to brush off defenders

Power: Ability to fight for difficult yardage in a scrum & truck through defenders

Vision: The combination of patience, decision making, and ability to see blocks set up one or two moves in advance

Ball Security: Observation of the player's fumbling history

Route Running: Technique, footspeed, and snap in routes out of the backfield or when lined up at receiver, relative to other backs doing so

Hands: Ability to secure catches (avoid drops) as well as show natural instincts to convert to a runner after the catch
