The High Court in Pretoria has reserved judgement in an urgent case brought by suspended Exxaro CEO Dr Nombasa Tsengwa.
She approached the court on an urgent basis in a bid to challenge her suspension as CEO of the mining company.
Tsengwa was placed on suspension by the company's board over claims related to workplace conduct and governance practice.
Her lawyers argued for the matter to sit on an urgent basis, citing prejudice, harm and indignity, and accusing the board of flouting the company's constitution.
Exxaro has dismissed the claims.
