🐝 The importance of pollinators! 🦋
Recently, Practical Plants donated some bee and insect-friendly plants to the lovely folk at Aurora Eccles School, Norfolk, who kindly invited us to come along and see how they children had incorporated them into the school grounds.
The work they're doing is truly inspiring. Set in 34 stunning acres, we were lucky enough to be shown around the grounds by Zoe Nicholls and a group of students leading the charge in attracting more wildlife to the school. Our tour included the stunning Walled Garden, Forest School and (the part we're most excited about!) the Pollinator Corridor, where our plants were to be used. 🐝
Phil and Terri chatted to a few of the children about the importance of having a pollinator-friendly garden, and even learnt a few things for themselves along the way! 🌸 What a perfect way to spend a sunny afternoon. 🌞
