F23 is on the nest with E26. Daddy M15 arrives with a fish. Mom claims the fish and the first bite for her is the eye. She did the same with yesterday's fish. Some eagle moms like the tail best while others prefer the eyes. M15 returns pretty quickly with a chunk of red mystery meat. Together Mom & Dad feed E26 Surf & Turf Meal. F23 decides this is a good time to leave the nest. Dad is doing such a good job feeding E26. She returns with a stick. Just as Mom is placing her stick on the rails, M15 gets a long piece of meat hung in his throat and does some head slinging. He gets it out, thankfully. Thanks for watching!

This nest is located in North Fort Myers, Florida. They usually lay eggs in November, and eggs typically begin hatching in December. This is the third season with the new female F23, whom M15 chose after longtime mate, Harriet, disappeared in 2022 leaving behind 2 eaglets which M15 successfully raised by himself until they both fledged.
