We head back to 2011, to the year of Heady’s Studio Sessions tour. Headhunterz doesn’t only pay his first ever visit to the US, he also rocks stages in Phoenix, Chicago, Los Angeles and New York City. But that’s not all. He also lands his tour in Canada, Sweden, Spain, Germany, Italy, Belgium and of course his native country, The Netherlands. Needless to say that the tour was a big success. Following the surreal tour-life, Heady heads back into the studio, fueled by new inspiration. From that, comes today’s classic, ‘Robot’s Dream’. Another red-hot collaboration with Noisecontrollers, and a tune that’s not only highly contagious, but very melodic as well.

Willem: “At the time, we were producing in the same studio, de Meern, and we thought ‘Hey - let’s do another record!’. Bas already had this idea laying around, so we worked on that. I guess that the reason that ‘Robot’s Dream’ is more melodic than my previous releases back then, is because I became milder, more spiritual-minded. The thing is, a lot of people say that if I don’t make music that’s hard – they think it’s not ‘the music that comes from within’. But they really haven’t got a clue, because whoever said that it’s supposed to be hard? As a person, I’ve become milder, and my music has grown into that.”
