After years of abandonment in a humid dockyard, this Weichai 6-cylinder marine engine was left severely rusted, corroded, and internally destroyed. Every bolt was frozen, the crankshaft locked solid, and the internal components were eaten away by saltwater corrosion.
In this extreme restoration project, we tear down the entire engine, inspect catastrophic internal damage, machine critical components, and rebuild it from the ground up. From seized pistons to a fully reconstructed crank system, this is one of the most challenging marine engine restorations ever attempted.
