types of divorce are classified into two. one is contest divorce and another one is mutual divorce.
with respect to diverse law contest diverse is to be filed by either husband and her wife or wife filed a petition against her husband on certain allegations based on misunderstanding between them. in this type of divorce, wife is eligible to claim maintenance for food, shelter and clothes also medical expenses for her and children if under her custody. further school or college fees, transportation expenses can also be claimed from husband. Appeal is possible by both parties.
whereas in mutual divorce petitions both maintenance and custody of children has to be decided earlier to the filing of mutual. That too has to be reflected in petition. No Appeal is possible.
