Sri M S Mannar Krishna Rao - a teacher par excellence at Mandya known for his English classes and author of more than 42 books. He is the retired Head Master of My Sugar High School Mandya and has students all across the globe. His literary works have fetched him many awards including the Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award in the Best Biography Category of 2018 for his biography of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The celebration was held on 11th January 2026 at Kondajji Basappa Auditorium, Palace Road Bengaluru. The function was presided over by Sri. S Shadakshari, Chairman of Ramashree Group and celebrated columnist. Dr. Gururaja Karajagi, Chairman - Academy of Creative Teaching and well known motivational speaker, was the Chief Guest of the function. The function was attended by more than 550 wellwishers of Mannar Mestru, as he is popularly called.
