After a beautiful and peaceful community Iftar, I kept my promise and stepped right outside to explore the vibrant Ramadan street food market in the lanes of Mominpura! The energy here near the Makka Masjid is absolutely unmatched during the holy month.
Walking through the crowded lanes, your eyes are immediately drawn to the massive grills loaded with brightly colored, smoking kebabs. I explored a variety of amazing street food options, including perfectly spiced Chana Masala, sizzling Chicken Seekh Kebabs, and an endless variety of other freshly grilled meats! To wash it all down, I had to grab a refreshing, chilled glass of the famous Mohabbat Ka Sharbat, which is the perfect sweet, milky rose drink to balance out all the heavy, spicy street food.
If you are in Pune and want to experience the true essence of Ramadan street food, you have to do a night food walk in these Mominpura lanes. It is a massive festival of flavors and an absolute paradise for food lovers!
