The Speaker of Parliament, Anita Among, has accused the opposition National Unity Platform (NUP) party of sheltering what she called evil, including homosexuality, under their umbrella symbol. While addressing attendees at a rally for President Museveni’s campaign in Kabale District, Among also praised the president for awarding Kabale city status. She criticized NUP’s ‘Protest Vote’ campaign, stating that they are only protesting against Uganda’s peace and socioeconomic development.
