An 8-minute ambient session built from prepared samples and performed live on the Torso S-4.
Everything drifts, bends, and degrades.
Pitches slide instead of settling. Some tracks move in reverse. Distortion and overdrive blur the edges.
Above it all, a broken industrial rhythm keeps pulsing - damaged, uneven, but persistent.
Fragments of piano appear briefly. A low bass anchors the weight.
Nothing stays clean for long. Nothing stays the same.
Processed through Hologram Microcosm and Chroma Console.
Recorded as a single live take.
It sounds almost beautiful.
And already broken.
