he headed a crew that was referred to as the "Demeo Crew"
which became notorious for the large number of murders they committed and the grisly way they disposed of the bodies infamously known as the Gemini Method the crew and its capo demeo are beleive to be reponsible for 200 murders many of which were committed by Demeo himself.

The DeMeo crew's method of killing and dismembering the bodies became known as the Gemini Method and they were so callous that they would order pizza and hot dogs while the bodies drained of blood in the bath tub.

The Gemini Lounge was the crews primary hangout as well as the site where most of the crews victims were killed.

in 1992 The FBI were investigating the enormous number of missing and murdered people who were linked to Demeo in a wire tap between capo Angelo Ruggiero and Gene Got a brother of John Gotti in the conversation it is discussed that the Boss Paul castellano had put a hit on Roy Demeo and they were finding it difficult to find a person to carry out the hit according to mobster Sammy the Bull eventually the contract was given to Frank DeCicco
but DeCicco and his crew could not get to Demeo.DeCicco allegedly handed the job to Demeos own men.

DeMeo's son Albert wrote in his final days DeMeo was paranoid and knew he would be clipped.

on January 10 1983 DeMeo went to crew members Patty Testa's house to collect some money was owed by joey testa and senter as Demeo sat down and waited for a coffee they shot him dead. In April 1984 Colombo Crime Family soldier Ralph Scopo was overheard explaining to an associate that DeMeo had been killed by his own men.

On September 14 1989 Senter and Testa were Both sentenced to ;life imprisonment. Senter continues to serve his sentence at the United States penitentiary, Allenwood Pennsylvania
Testa is serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute In Terminal Island for crimes that include murders.
