After installing quite a few Lowrance Ghost Trolling Motors, I’d like to share tricks and tips which can't be found in any manual. I connected the Ghost to both of my HDS-12 Live units using NMEA 2000 to share temperature sensors, digital gauges, fluid level sensors, Point-1 antenna and can even control the trolling motor from the back screen. In just an hour, you can install the Ghost and hook it up to your fish finders using my tips. I also go through the initial setup on HDS Live to make sure the units and motor are communicating with each other.
