I’m back for another Sonic Movie 3 unboxing merch review.
This is the 4th one by far.
As I’ve already owned and reviewed the plushies, the mini figures, the 5 inch scale articulated figures, the Crab mech battle play-set.
And now, I’ve got the next Sonic Movie 3 play-set.
The Shadow + Motorcycle play-set from JAKKS Pacific.

Clearly, it’s inspired by Shadow’s motorcycle in the third Sonic movie.
As well as a homage to Shadow’s iconic motorcycle in his solo 2005 video game.
Same goes to pay another homage to Keanu Reeves love for motorcycles as well.
Since, that motorcycle was shown in that first trailer for Sonic Movie 3.
Jakks Pacific has the chance to recreate it in toy form.

So, now that I have it in my hands.
Does it live up the expectations?
For me, it’s decent for what it is.
The Shadow figure itself is slightly different to his other variants.
His eyes are more painted in plastic.
There’s only 13 articulated joints around his limbs and body.
Even the color of the paint of the figure is more colorful.
I say it’s less stiff, than the other LED light up Shadow figure that I’ve own.
So, I’ll say the figure is less sensitive in my opinion.

Then as for the motorcycle itself.
I believe that Jakks Pacific did the best for what they were able to do with it.
For the most part, it’s still detailed like how the motorcycle looks in the movie.
As well as for that solo Shadow poster in that motorcycle.
But I’ll admit, it’s missing some cool features.
Like the GUN logo should’ve been included on the bike.
Just like how it looks in the poster based on it.
Some LED lighting, and sound effects would’ve been some nice additions to make it even more interesting.
But aside from that, the wheels do run well to shift and turn.
Also, you are able to put other figures of the Sonic characters to ride on the motorcycle too.
As I’ve done it with Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, and even Dr Ivo Robotnik. (Dr Eggman)

Now for the real question.
Is the Shadow motorcycle playset worth getting?
Well, if you love Shadow, The Sonic Movies, or just a fan of everything Sonic in general.
Then sure, go ahead and buy it.
But if you want a more detailed motorcycle with more fun features.
There is another way to get a better motorcycle set with lights and sound effects.
Plus, adding a seperate Shadow figures with multiple sets of articulation should make it better.
Since other toy collectors have suggested that for Shadow and his motorcycle.
